You're Gonna Miss This

Saturday has arrived and so has Autumn. 

It's cold here this morning in the Canadian Prairies...+1 Celsisus.  The high is supposed to be +9 Celsisus..let's hope it comes with no rain or snow flurries.  The fields are still full of crops that need to be harvested.  Though my family does not grain farm anymore I know what it's like when that crop is sitting in the field, wet and under snow.

That last paragraph had nothing to do with my "moment" this week but I have been thinking about the farmers out there.

This week I realized how much I am going to miss but also enjoy the next few years.  I will miss playing games with my kids.

Right now we stick to games that do not require reading.  The game we are playing here is all about math so my oldest enjoys it because he is really good at adding and subtracting.

I do look forward to when we can all {six of us} sit down and play board games.  Right now the older three have a couple games we can all play but we must sit at the table because we have this to contend with....
