Tick Tock

I have no idea where September went and now it's October and I wake to snow on the ground and a temperature that requires a winter coat, hat and mitts.  Canadian Thanksgiving will be celebrated this weekend as well, next is Halloween and then Christmas.

I have to admit, my Mother was right.  As you get older time goes by much faster, or is it as your family grows time goes by much faster.

It's not going fast right now for my sister who is due any minute with a baby.

We have no idea what gender baby is.

Which drives me crazy.

I truly can't wait to snuggle a newborn again and I hope I get to be there like I was with her first baby.  It was pretty cool to see your neice arrive into the world before her mother did!

So time is not going fast enough for my sister, we all know what it's like to be 9 months pregnant.  I also have a friend out West who is expecting her fourth baby.

Let's hope both these ladies get to eat their Turkey suppers this weekend with family.  I think they should do what I did, eat standing up..gives you way more room when your so full with baby.
