We did have the computer unplugged. I left the connection in the router.
We live on a hill.
We live in the prairies.
Which means we get some lovely thunderstorms {I reaallllyyy dislike thunderstorms}.
For some reason lightning likes our house...or should I say yard.
I have just recently purchased my third desktop computer in 6 years. All of the desktops have come to a tragic end my lightning strikes.
See, another reason to dislike thunderstorms.
Since we own a laptop I had a hard time justifying the purchase of another desktop computer. There were more pros and cons but the problem was none of the pros proved a REAL need. It's a luxury item that we honestly cannot afford.
But thank you credit card for assisting with this purchase....sigh.
So here I sit typing away at the new keyboard trying not to feel guilty. Anyone want to help me out with that?
