Here ya go......

The shoes are only part of the equation. Inside them are custom orthodics to help my feet go where they should. I also have one leg a 1/2" shorter than the other..supposedly from pregnancies.
I was amazed the doctor never touched my feet once during the appointment. I walked on a "virtual" carpet which measures this and that. The orthodics are made from that "virtual" imprint. Scary when you dishing out $600.00 also sad that health care has come to computers and no more physical contact. Like the doctor at the walkin clinic lastnight {but that is a whole different topic}.
We have coverage by our province for health care, doc appt, ultrasounds, hospital visits, everything is covered except drugs {when out of hospital} and some other things. So when you have to pay for something it is a wake up call. I had to pay for this particular doctor because she is a podiatrist so that cost me $110.00 for her consult..BUT...my feet are happy.
Now everything else is out of whack. My hips and back. Even my knees hurt after a run {if you can call it that} the other day. So I guess she is going to get more money out of me if the pain continues because it means I need to be readjusted and guess what...I am scared to go to a chiropractor!
So reassurance would be great.
I should be packing our bags for another lake trip but I still have a sore throat and part of my voice is missing yet. At least I can swallow and I don't feel like a truck ran over me. The baby is destroying the office as I type but soon will want his breakfast then bath then bed {tough life}. So I will get moving as duty calls.
Have a great weekend and do not forget to leave me some reassurance if you have been to a chiropractor! Bad experiences I don't want to know about.
