Knitting is so relaxing but I find it's teaching me patience because it takes a while to get a project done when your first starting out. Watching the project be created is my motivation to keep knitting and get it done.
It is also a craft that you can do when your kids are around and it's portable, the car is the best place to knit on a long trip.

I need music blasting in my ears when I workout. I have three playlists on my ipod for working out. When looking for some good tunes I searched the net for "workout music" and found this.
I do not listen to the radio a whole lot mostly because of the content of the music of today. I have issues with certain songs that are popular. I love Katy Perry's music but I don't love that she liked to kiss a girl. I dislike songs with swearing and when the whole song is about how a person spins right round when baby goes down down...ewww. My kids are usually in the van with me and they don't need to be given anymore subliminal messages, there is enough out there already.
BUT, if your looking at some of the tunes on this site and wondering what song that is here is what I do.
I head over to YouTube and type in the song for a search. Watch the video, listen to the lyrics and usually I go "Oh yeah, I heard this before". Did I mention I also hate to waste money and that would be what I am doing if I purchase a song before I know what it is.
