First....do you really keep a list?
Or do you just go by the library and find a good book to read with or to your child?
This year my plan is to teach my oldest child how to read English. He is in a French Immersion school and until he gets to Grade two he will learn only French. He can read books in French but not English and that bothers me somewhat. I also want to read him some of the classics. Here is a list of 100 Books to read to your child.
I hummed and hawed about what kind of reader I should buy...I went with these...and the little monkey (my child) read the first four books. {Insert screaming and pulling hair out here}. But when he tried to read them to his Dad he got frustrated and could not do it...interesting. These readers are PERFECT for boys. There is not much color for distraction but best of all the story is silly. Silly + boy = Interest

While the motivation to lose weight and be healthy is strong in me right now I decided to check out "Clean Eating". I have to say I love raw veggies of any kind so this kind of diet regimen may be right for me. {Hold the fort...the banana bread just finished baking and the oven is beeping..LOL}.
Okay, now for those Healthy recipes.
I plan to try all of them soon, very very soon.

My son is not video game savvy due to the fact we do not own a Wii or Nintendo DS. We have a computer and he is not much for that either. But he does enjoy Lego.com. He loves City Police Chase and City Coast Guard.

And this week I am highlighting a little blog I found that I enjoy.
"Inside The White Picket Fence" is a charming, faith filled corner of the net. I have enjoyed reading her "Keeping It Real" posts and so can relate. Go on over and check this blog out and leave her a comment.
Have a wonderful Sunday. We are having Gage baptized today and look forward to celebrating with family and friends.
