Yawn!

I have a To Do List.

It's a mile long.

I have no energy or ambition to tackle it.

I want to sleep and sleep some more.

I know I have every reason to be tired after the last four months but seriously??? I usually bounce back much faster. I decided this morning that I need to stop concentrating on all I have to do and just do. Know what I mean? It's not even about things I "have" to do but more about things that I enjoy to do. Apparently sitting on the sofa in my room in front of the tv is winning over scrapbooking and knitting...geesh!

Today we have a playdate scheduled and my husband has his first day of work. He does have tomorrow off and I already have a day filled with a massage for myself and needles for Gage so that is a write off. Saturday he starts his first tour and we won't see him much until Tuesday of next week. By the way I am soooo excited for him to start and can't wait to hear how it all goes. It's the long weekend here and I imagine it will be pretty exciting out on the streets!

If I can get some energy back I'll probably get more done when he is not here but if not I plan to sleep...I really don't feel bad about that. I did get some things booked like Gage's baptism, doctor appts, a massage for myself (woohoo) but I still feel like the two page todo list has really got to be cut down.

Maybe it's spring maybe it's just the fact that I put so much on hold these past few months but things have piled up. I am not complaining just wondering why I can get a good night's sleep (like lastnight) then I can't bounce back in the morning with a bundle full of energy..hmm..age maybe? Who knows, but I know I need to change my thinking and it's starts today.

On a completely different note...I have begun to realize that I am starting to see some wrinkles. I am not a vain person (at least I don't think so, being comfortable wins over fashion in my book) but I do want to take care of my skin. I am 4.5 years away from the big 40 and that makes me realize there are things that need more attention than they have had in the past.

I always have used Mary Kay but can now not stand what the company is like (sorry Mary Kay consultants). The badgering to buy and sell got on my nerves and I want to get away from their company. Cost is an issue too. I can no longer afford to buy really expensive things so I looked on the shelf for items that I could try out without breaking the bank.

I have fallen in love with the Neutrogena line, I really like their face wash but am now having trouble finding a face lotion. I need two, a heavy cream for night and a heavier lotion for day. I have really dry skin (even in summer). Does anyone have some suggestions? The Oil Of Olay line is too perfumey for me and I want something with some SPF protection in it. I would love to go all natural but have no idea where to start...again without breaking the bank. Leave a comment if you have something worth trying out.

On that note I am going to maybe do some googling to see if I can find some samples. I'll let you all know what I find out.
