This is a big week for me. I have the usual chores and tending to the little people but I also have to get myself and four children ready for a 3 day trip to see their Daddy graduate. My tackle of course has to do with prepping for the drive.
My van's floor mats were a total mess after the spring season. I took the pressure washer out (I LOVE this machine) and hosed them down.

I thought I would wash up my horrible looking lawn chair cushions (yes I know I need new ones) while I had the pressure washer out. I can't decide if I just want to buy new chairs or new cushions...they are sooo expensive!
Here they are drying. Right before I threw them down on the grass I saw my first ever (and hopefully last) garter snake. I am 35 years old and have lived here all my life and never saw one until today. I screamed and ran away just like a good Mother should do when all her children are watching.
I had to get some housework done and the "recycling" pit under my sink was getting full.
I still need to set up a good recycling center but it keeps getting pushed down my to do list.
I also had to keep helping this cute 6 month old baby out of a jam. I put him down on his blankie and he rolls himself into corners. He was under the baby swing earlier today and was having a blast!
And since I really wanted to paint my nails for the big TODO this Friday I thought I better fix up my cuticles.
I finally got to use a new stamp set...I love it..you can choose from a few things to put in the tree.
It was a tiring day and tomorrow will be even more so because I really would like to get the floors mopped and bathrooms cleaned. I also need to start packing and have that all ready by Wednesday night which means I'll also be doing laundry tomorrow.
