It's that time of year where in the morning you may still need a warm coat but by noon you will need to shed it and put on something lighter. We still have lots of snow and since we live in the country it's muddy....everywhere.
Where I live we could still have a late winter storm BUT despite that thought I needed to get rid of the winter coats, boot, scarves, hats, extra mittens etc from my back closet. It houses outerwear for five people and it's overcrowded and frustrating to deal with on a daily basis.

I can't tell you how good it felt to get rid of the mess of coats. I also purchased the bins for the top because they have handles and are easier to grab then the bins I had up there. One bin is full of just my husband's ball caps, the kids hat bin is only half full ;). I have a bin for umbrellas, splash pants and bag/purses.
This area is directly across from the closet. The shelf needs a good cleaning but I did not get to much of that today. The hooks for coats is lower so the younger kids can get their own coats (noticed I did not say that they hang their own coats) ;).

This is the coat rack we use most often...it's strong enough to hold my purse and diaper bag and a bunch of the kids coats and backpacks.

It would have been a really quick tackle but I was soooooo dogging it yesterday. You can see part of the exersaucer in the last picture...baby kept me company and it's a good thing because if he had been sleeping I would have been too.
