Something Good To Pass On

So I mentioned in the previous post that Lori has handed over a little recognition and here it is...

Friends Award

A little explanation now....

"These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to be friends. They are not interested in self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these kind writers. When you pass the award along please include these guidelines. I am to choose eight friends to share this with."

Very nice and totally right up there with why I have a blog. So I really like what Lori decided to do. She passed on the "award" to 2 of her readers and 2 readers of theirs as well as four random blogs. I think I'll change it up a bit and pass this onto 4 of my readers and 4 slightly random blogs because I do read alot of blogs and do not always comment on them...SOOOO...let's surprise these bloggers. I am not sure how I'll attempt the random blogs but I have a feeling with my time restraints this post just may be saved in "draft" a few times.

Here we go....

Karina from Thoughts of the 11th Hour Rebel totally deserves this recognition because she has been my friend for 7 years or so and I have yet to meet her..lol. She just recently started a blog but of course her wonderful caring personality showed through right away. This women has offered to fly up to Canada to come help me out when I had twins. She offered this even though she had four children of her own at home...see what I mean?

Another recent reader of mine (and I of her) is Gayle from The White House. She is busy and has lots of children like myself with the exception they are spaced out more in age than mine. She still is a busy women but I can tell already that she lives for her family! She is also from Alaska which fascinates me...Why you ask? Yes, I am Canadian and live in the cold tundra but Alaska is very different than my Prairies and I don't know ...Gayle's pics just keep me going back for more. She also is a very kind commenter.

Now this blog I just started reading but is a favorite already. Her Wordless Wednesday pic and reading her profile made me think this Mom and I have alot in common and it is the kind of blog I love to read. A Mom that wants so much out of life, Melissa from Home is Where Your Story Begins is one of my new fav's. I also sat here one night listening to the music on her blog which has alot of my favorite songs as well as a song not well known that I walked down the aisle to at my wedding. I look forward to reading more of her thoughts.

Miranda at Sippycups and Fingerprints was another Wordless Wednesday find. Miranda's profile states.. "I have always loved to journal, I am starting a blog to help me capture all the sweet things our children do and the lessons God teaches me though my family. I have been amazingly blessed! " Yup, my kind of Mom as well and perfect for this award. I know she left one comment on my blog in return for my comment on hers but and I truly do not know if she is a reader of mine but hey I am of her and hope she enjoys this little award I am passing on.

So for the four random here we are...some I have read but not commented or have very little and other's I have peeked at through links of blogs I read.
