HAPPY NEW YEAR

The plan for this post was to put up some pictures of where I have been for the last 3 days but apparently this laptop and my digital Camera are not on agreeable terms. I could go downstairs on my "old" computer and load up the pictures as I usually do but I would like to spend the time I have left with my new found love...my.... I mean my husband's laptop. In a few short days this computer as well as my husband will be off to college so the next few days may be slightly hectic around here.

This morning the "official" stuff starts to happen with the new career. My husband will be sworn in by a judge. It's not a huge deal in terms of getting things going but it is important. After this it is college and everyone getting used to the differences in our daily life. I am not saying it is going to be easy...I already have nightmares of what it's going to be like, but my philosophy is other people have done it so can I. It is a mind game you have to win with yourself and I am up for the battle. I may need some encouragement from you all every once in a while but otherwise I have my mind set that this is going to be a good thing.

I have to get ready for this morning, I have a baby waking up and cold coffee. Did I mention my sweet baby boy has been sleeping 6 hours every night? That was up until lastnight when I needed my rest because I had to get up early this morning...of course that is how it happens right?

I'll be back online later to post some pictures of the beautiful log cabin we stayed in to celebrate New Year's Eve. It was a wonderful family trip and I would do it again in a heartbeat...I may wait till my children are a wee bit older.
